1. About Qualendar
Qualendar ("we", "us", "our") is a shared family calendar service operated at qualendar.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms").
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create and manage a Qualendar account. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. You are responsible for any family members or schedules you manage within your account.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account, including access by calendar apps you connect over CalDAV. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access, and revoke any compromised access credentials from your account settings.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Qualendar to:
- Post unlawful, harmful, or deceptive content
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate other people
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or to other users' accounts or calendars
- Interfere with or place an unreasonable load on the service, including its CalDAV endpoints
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create on Qualendar, such as calendars and event details. By creating content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display it solely for the purpose of operating the service for you and the family members you share it with.
You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe third-party rights.
6. Privacy and data protection
We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection law, including Québec's Law 25 and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For details on what we collect and your rights, see our Privacy Policy.
7. Free service and future paid features
Qualendar is currently free to use. We may introduce paid features in the future. If we do, we will clearly describe what is paid, what remains free, and give existing users reasonable notice before any change affects them.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or discontinue the service, or modify features, at any time. We will give reasonable notice where possible.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Qualendar is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any missed events or scheduling errors.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or a notice on the service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Québec.
